New Fire Extinguisher Installation
Advanced Fire Protection & Safety, Inc. will come and evaluate your building and/or hazard level and determine what fire extinguishers will suit you best. Hydrostatic Testing and Internal Inspection
NFPA 10 requires the exterior shell of fire extinguishers to be tested for integrity. The frequency depends on the type of fire extinguisher. This process is completed by filling the fire extinguisher with water and pressurizing it to at least 3 times it's operating pressure.
Internal Inspection on fire extinguishers must be completed in accordance with NFPA 10. The requirements for internal inspection depends on the type of fire extinguisher. This process involves removing the extinguishing agent, completing a multple point inspection of the interior of the fire extinguisher and refilling the exitnguisher with new extinguishing agent.
